Floody XM-L multi-AA with heatsinking capability of MCU C88?

Is there any flashlight / host out there with the heat sinking capability of the MCU C88 (to be able to use XM-L @ 3A for more than 10 minutes [the C88 can do that, right?]) which uses multiple AA (if only host, preferably 3 so that I can use the new KD 3040mA driver) and can be used for flood?

I don't think I want / need to mod my C88 right now, since I'm quite happy with its light pattern (will XM-L in the C88 throw like the Q5 it now has?) and I need a flood light anyway.

?

My SAiK SA-305 that I modded to XM-L @ 2.8A doesn't seem to get hot at all. Pretty minimal investment too.

Good idea, but I think the SAiK is more of a thrower than a flooder?

With an XM-L it's still pretty floody. Apply a mist of clear lacquer or hairspray to the reflector and it'd be great.

The SAIK's reflector is 46mm wide, 31.5mm deep , so it's with 4mm larger in diameter than the C8 reflector. The depth is identical.

It you have a C8, you can image how the beam would be. More of thrower type.

Some guys consider the UF 980L with a reflector of 40mm diameter and 26mm depth, a thrower.

All the reflectors should be put in the context of the XM-L of course.
