Olight M2R Warrior. Now In Copper.

For those of you who aren’t on the Olight email list. They are having a 25% off sale on the M2R Cu Warrior for the next 20 hours or so. Looks really cool.

That’s going to be heavy :smiling_imp:

wow so good looking

Thanks for the headsup. Im a sucker for copper so gonna snatch this one up. I missed the R50 Seeker copper that I really want so not going to miss this one

Heavy and good looking for sure. I am a fan of copper too but, I fear that may be too heavy for me. I don’t have but, I got to handle a R50 in copper one time. It was quite the beast. Felt like I was holding a really bright brick. Very nice otherwise.

The R50 copper weighs 512g while the M2R weighs 282g so this one should be much lighter. But still hefty, which I personally like. I like my copper lights as heavy as can be  since I don’t EDC them

I wouldn’t carry it either. I would love to start a copper collection. On the other hand, some of the prices on a lot of the copper lights keep them out of the budget league of flashlights. For me at least. They are tempting though. It’s hard for me to pass up on copper. I put things in the cart then can’t bring myself to hit the confirm button.

Olight just extended sale til 12:00 AM midnight PST for us West Coast guys. Man, very tempting because I want 2 of these bad boys.

Man I was back and forth on clicking purchase today and finally decided to get it because copper lights larger than 16340 or AA are so rare to come by. I don’t like CW though but I saw Maukka’s review and it seems like the bezel can be removed to get access to the mcpcb. This is my 5th Olight light I bought this BF/CM. Bought three other copper lights from Illumn.com with the 30% coupon.

Yeah we got that model in, thing is freaking chunky as hell. Odd light to be making in copper but they made the R50 in copper last year so.....

Thank goodness I did not get at all. Reason is I would never use it anyway. Just be shelf queens for sure.

But I want the R50 Seeker in copper the most despite it weighs almost twice the M2R. Too bad it’s sold out and the Ebay price is too high. That light has really good performance and very high efficiency from Maukka’s tests. I was also planning to put an E21A quadtrix in it and use it as a tail standing beside lamp that can last for many nights per charge. I also prefer the built-in USB charge over Olight’s magnetic charger that is seen on all of their newer lights.

Budget league or not, they’d do so much better with flashaholics if they included a truly warm (4000K or warmer) emitter option, which apparently they are planning on doing on some of their lights. I know the mainstream market is their focus, but there are plenty of enthusiasts who simply won’t buy Olights since their emitters are way too cool.

Well I won’t argue tint with you. 4000K and below just ain’t my thing man. A few hundred K north or south of 5000k is perfect for me. I don’t like yellow as much as I don’t like blue.

Fair enough, everyone is entitled to their temp and tint preferences. That being said, I haven’t read of any enthusiasts who are all that enthused about their new 7500K emitter choices on their recent releases. 5000K does seem like a nice middle ground.

The Olight H2R Nova have one of the best 4000k tint Ive seen and is arguably comparable or even better than the 219B 9080. My second H2R 4000k was horribly green so I returned it. I wonder why Olight dont continue with the nice 5A or 5D tint in their other models.

I wanted to buy H2R but when I learned that it is now 5000K, I gave it up. I’ve made H03 on HP-L HI 5A and it’s delicious.

I also made the second play by inserting HP-L HI 3A.

I’m guessing the reason why Olight changed NW to 5000k from the original 4000k was because their second batch of emitters were extremely green and a ton of people were complaining and returning it. I returned my 2nd 4000k NW H2R that I bought several months after my first H2R because the tint was just unbearable. That misled Olight to believe people did not like 4000k, despite so many people were praising the tint on their first batch of 4000k H2R.

I absolutely loved the 4000k tint on my first H2R.

Picked up this one and the two other copper model offerings Olight had for 40% off, free keychain light and free shipping on the black Friday sale.

Not sure if I will even be able to bring myself to open the protective seals on these, my first copper lights, when I get them. :stuck_out_tongue:

I also bought a few other lights…deals just too good to pass up.

Just not looking forward the the Visa bill, lol.

Which other two copper lights did they have for 40% off?
