Only the long time members will remember him/her. Back in the day he/she would give away so many lights, and i never understood who it was, and why he/she gave away so many great flashlights.

Has that mystery ever been solved?
It was before my time. But I’m sure at this point, a motivated person could cross reference all the BLF members’ history from that time period and figure it out.

Fans of the old radio show know that the Shadow was Lamont Cranston.
I do remember The Shadow, BLF version. I thought someone figured out whom it was, but maybe not. It must be a member who disappeared around the same time his or her alter ego did.
It was Dorian Yates. They called him “The Shadow”.

I find it weird to give away flashlight to stranger.
I have given away two Utorch UT02 to my relative and brother in law last month, and bunch of small lights to kids. They don’t have interest in flashlight and batteries, else i could give away bigger lights.
Some of us ARE weird! 
It’s weird for me to do that. Definitely not weird for you or anyone who give away lights to strangers. Or anyone you know who did giveaway but find it weird?

I don’t know who he was but he evidently had a big heart. I had to go look.
The guy created 8 threads total, every thread he every created was a giveaway.
I don’t know his reason or neither do I wanna judge him but he liked doing giveaway’s and being generous.
He had his reason what ever they were, no mater how he acted on a day to day basis.
I’ve only given free stuff to real freinds including Streamer from here. He has sent me stuff as well. Anyway, I have other real friends from BLF I have stuff I’d gladly give away. You know who you are. That being said, I don’t remember The Shadow.

I wish I had the money so I could give away lights to strangers.
I have given a few lights to family and friends though. Lol, the last time I tried to give a light away the person reacted as if I had insulted them. He was going to the country for a week for work and staying at motels, you’d think a good light might be handy in that situation, but nope.
