I just got this new light off of Ebay and it's a single 18650 saying up to 1300 lumens. Has anyone else seen or used this light? So far it's really incredible for the size and it was $16USD shipped.
It looks like a C8, a well-liked light over here.
looks like some people have sniped one for less than $16.
i think you can only post pics if they're already hosted on the web somewhere (like photobucket)
let us know more if you can, that's a pretty good price if quality is ok
Does anyone know anything about the "Citipower" brand? I just won this auction. I was looking for some extra 18650s and a dual 18650 charger, and saw this combo. I figured the light cost me about $5 shipped. It has an aspheric lens too? Strange.
Last night I browsed on ebay, and I noticed that a lot of citipower X7 xm-l auction finished around $13-$14. And, yes I won an X7 xm-l for $13.5. I'm very curious what will I get, but it looks, it is a nice C8.

Can't see Ebay at work! $!#%#@!!
Anyway, I like, I like. I like the shorter form factor along with the big head for my bicycle applications..
Going to see if I can snag one or two today when I get home.. Looks good to me...
Today I got this.
Surprisingly good for $13.5, actually, it's a UF C8.
There is a dent on the head, but overall it's a decent light, well centered led, alu reflector etc...
One more little cons, there are 2 almost invisible ring around the spot, but when I remove the glass lens, they disappear, so it's not a reflector defect.
Very bright cold spot, I love this. It's brighter and colder than my lumapower xm-l clone.
tailcap current with a fully charged sanyo cell:
HI ~ 4.2A (I pressed totally the lower spring on the driver)
MED~ 2A
LOW~ 0.35A
Comparison citipower vs lumapower clone at the same current, both with amc7135 3040mA
The citipower is a very little weaker in overall brightness, a little different beam profile, and colder color.
