I have a 2S 65C Turnigy Graphene 1000mAh lipo pack and a Hobbymate Elite balance charger. When I go to do a balance charge it reads lower cell volt. To change it I have to do a regular charge. Does anyone know why it won’t do a balance charge and what that reading means?

Perhaps the highest cell voltage in the pack can not be charged to its max voltage so the balancing circuit of the charger will just charge the pack within .01v of each other, bringing down the whole pack’s voltage.
Do you have a DMM? Can you measure voltage between balance connector wires?
There is some small swelling in the lower corner where the wires come in. Would that have anything to do with it?
The balance wires were a bit loose so the situation is now fixed. Thank you for your help!
