I looked at them this morning, and the 3rd one was still in stock.
Got home after mailing a thing, and it was gone.

Damn, I wanted to get it.
Oh well, got one of the 4th heading here now.

Is it odd that I have more faith in what you semi-random internet strangers say than other fully random internet strangers?

I got these three. My impressions are below each pic…..
______

.
These arrived today. They are indeed “assisted flippers”, I can verify that 100%.
Typically I have no use at all for an assisted knife that is ‘thumb open’. But this assisted flipper is A- Ok….. Thumbs Up I do not mind the assist at all with flipper style opening.
And at $2.99 each it was a no brainer.
___________

7.7cm D2 blade and a G10 handle:

https://www.gearbest.com/pocket-knives-folding-knives/pp_009152095568.html
.
This one is (was) the ‘sleeper’!!! I wish I hae ordered 20+… some to sell & some to gift.
D2 steel claimed & due to the edge holding ability I believe it.
Perfect size and blade style. Hollow ground. Opens as smooth as melting butter.
Fit & finish is fantastic.
The clip sux without a bit of creative bending in a couple of strategic places.

I paid $9.99 for this one. It arrived a couple of weeks ago & I luv it. Why they discountinued it I’ll never know. Facepalm
___________

8.9cm D2 blade and a G10 handle:

.
Very nice & well made. Fit & finish excellent. Opens smoother than melting butter. D2 claim seems to check out. Personally not my favorite blade style, but this is a great knife. Equal in every way to the “sleeper” mentioned above. Just not my favorite.

I got this one a couple of weeks ago also. Paid $16.99 for it.

I got mine in a few days ago, really liking it. Just wish I had ordered one of the discontinued one before it disappeared. If anyone had an extra, I will buy it.

Wow, I definitely love this pic that I borrowed from gearbest:

At first I was wondering about that lanyard hole but then I realized there’s something missing.

Just like an ad for a car with a missing screw on a wheel…

Unfortunately I missed that flipper but I managed to grab the kwaiken which is also very good value for the money.
Here is my review with a couple of pics along with my similar priced kwaikens:

At the moment there’s a 50% off discount for the kwaiken if you order 3 pcs or more. I couldn’t resist the $8.50 price and I grabbed a couple of them as gift. Smile

If these are the same quality as the first one I got a while back I will be a happy camper.

I honestly think this is the best ‘knife deal’ I have ever run across… bar none!! And I have bought many more than a few blades in the last 25+ years. No brag, just fact. Wink

I just got 9 more in fact. . Cash

it was tested by a machinist / metallurgist

Yeah, I haven’t tested this one yet to see if it is really D2. But whatever it is, it has great edge holding characteristics.

Hmmm.
Just back from a Med cruise. Barcelona, North Africa,
Gibraltar. Canaries. Recommended.
Air flight costs from here kill it. $4.600 for tickets alone.
still hung over. 41 hrs, travel and airport benches.
LAST thing I should be doing is more knives.
Oh well. If she catches me. Ded meat. Again.

That was a nice trip! Did you pick up any new blades? Smile

Just for curiosity are returning Australian citizens searched by overzealous Australian custom officers as a routine too?
Once I had a quite negative experience at Brisbane Airport where our plane stopped for refueling during our flight to NZ.

Hmmm, dunno. GB is still sitting on the order, took my cash, still didn’t even hit “packed” let alone “shipped”.

Anyone have theirs on the Slow Boat™ yet?

Mine hasn’t moved yet. To be fair, when I ordered mine it stated it wouldn’t ship until March 28th to the 30th. So I wasn’t expecting it to ship earlier than that. I figure I will get it by the 4th of July. Big Smile

Hmm, I didn’t see any expected ship-date when I ordered it.

July 4th… what year?

I went to check on my order, and there was a button there, says something like “process faster” or something like that. Clicked it, said it was successful. Don’t know what it did.
