Which 14mm XM-L to buy?

DinoDirect 14mm XM-L T6 for 8.69$ http://www.dinodirect.com/led-emitter-10w-750lumens-cree-xml.html or LCK-LED 14mm XM-L U2 for 12.39$ http://www.lck-led.com/p923/Cree-XLamp-XM-L-Cool-White-LEDs-w/14mm-Board-U2-Group,1000Lm@3A/product_info.html?

Will be used in conjunction with KD's new 8x7135 driver http://www.kaidomain.com/product/details.S020073 in the MCU-C88, with 3xeneloops or 3xenergizer lithiums (so can probably provide 3A).

If you can squeeze in 16 mm star this would be best (but expensive) option:

If you're on budget than get one from lcd-led or kaidomain or even dx. I wouldn't gamble with DD.

Thanks, but it would require some drilling which I am not fond of, and with shipping it is too expensive anyway (20 euro). Cutter is also too expensive (24$ including shipping).

DX and KD don't seem to have an XM-L on a 14mm base, or I couldn't find it.

I don't like DD either, so I guess I'm left with lck-led (which has the better emitter anyway).

Unless there are other options?

I would go with the DD one if you dont care about the difference between T6 and U2. DD has been very fast and reliable for me, has passed Manafont as my favorite vendor. I never ordered from LCK though.

That is the first time I have ever seen the LED-TECH XML linked to by the Chief Inspector. I really need to look around in there, thats a nice rig.

I have been successful with lck-led. I have 3 of their U2 binned xm-l on 14mm stars. 1 in an Yezl S5 and 2 to go into C88's.

Quick order processing and shipping.

DD should be ok. Wow thanks, i need a 16mm star (14mm is ok also) to put into my burned XM-L in my Sky Ray 3800. Got a 15% discount too, will order 1 pair of the TF Flames 2400 protected and see what's up with the different SKU.
