I am leaning toward Samsung 35e. Why you went with 18650GA?

Any mainstream high-drain cell is perfectly good, and you’d be hard-pressed to tell any Real World™ difference.

So… 30Q, HG2, VTCwhatever, get whatever’s easiest/cheapest.

I had an eBay coupon that made the 18650GA quite a bit cheaper.

Also, I think the 18650GA handles more continuous amps.

The Sanyo 18650GA slightly edges out the 35E in testing. Neither are true high drain cells though at around 10A continuous but rather mid-drain high capacity ones. I recommend the Sony 18650 VTC6 and then the 18650 30Q for up to 15A.
