SERIOUS Password Problems

Admins, this marks the 4th time today I've reset my password. I had a suspicion when I stay logged in here and am forced to reset the password every other week or so upon trying to post that it wasn't me. Now I know for sure it wasn't me.

I'm very net-savvy and have a password I use and know for this site. So, today, I reset the password again, immediately logged out to test it and tried to log back in, and: "SORRY, PASSWORD NOT RECOGNIZED." It's been 4 times. No change. I just realized it was only letting me in via the one-time login of the "Request New Password" feature.

Please look into this and let me know something. In case it matters, I'm not seeing the "If you can see this, you are on the new server" message anymore.

Thanks for reporting this. Sorry for the issues. I'm quite sure that this is not a common problem, since the software that runs this forum is up to date and used by millions of internet users on thousands or millions of websites around the world. Unfortunately I can't change anything on our side, because it's working well for 99.9% of the users. You might try a different browser, or possibly clearing all cookies and disabling your browser's password remembering feature.

I removed the new server welcome message myself a few days ago.

I hope this helps to resolve your problem.

Best regards.

Thanks for the response. I tried in Safari and Firefox browsers. Same result. You might try and bounce around some ideas in your support forum with whoever provides your service.

I use a MAC, but it shouldn't matter, as I tried to log in from our PC work computer and same result.

maybe try a new account?
