If lights were cars?

I was thinking about how different lights cover different bases of usage. I started thinking about how I could compare my lights to the cars I have owned or own now.

My little iTP A3 E0S would be a scooter. Small and easy to run. Inexpensive to use for short jaunts around town when I didn't have to haul much of anything.

Olight M3X is like my old hot rod Camaro Z28. A real performer but limited as to carrying passengers. Pretty much one dimensional.

My Fenix TK41 is like my Chevy Suburban. Not the best at anything but can do a little of everything. From hauling the family, towing the trailer, 4x4 for snow. It can do it all.

Shiningbeam S-mini is like my Toyota Camry. Comfortable, small enough to get around great in, efficient and something I want when I really don't need a bigger car.

Olight M20s is like my old dependable 4x4 Chevy diesel truck. Dependable as all heck, gets the job done with confidence, always starts up and will get me out of just about any jam. Not my first choice when I'm heading out but fun to use every now and again. I use it when I'm going hunting.

There you go. Maybe kind of stupid but it's Christmas and what to heck. Merry Christmas everyone.

ROFL. Well, I didn't see that coming.

Solarforce L2T with UF-XML 3 mode is like my old Kawasaki GPz900. It is a comfortable, lovable rocket that someone can underestimate easily until you turn it on to max. It also drops its output when overheated...

Fenix TK-35 is like my old Yamaha TDM-850. Smooth, it can do everything and it can do it good! Very balanced as a package and entertaining, doesn't excel in anything specific but most of the times you are happy for your choice.

Sunwayman V10R is like my Yamaha XT, small, light, can fit anywhere, goes unnoticed only when off and can step over or go around any obstacle. It doesn't really need to fully stop, never, just lower its output as needed and max-up again

I think the TK41 is more like my GT Mustang than a Suburban. It's a nice normal flashlight in the first three modes, but put in in Turbo mode and it's unbelievably powerful.

I'd still be drivin a freakin used Toyota (my wife's) CryEmbarassed

Your mustang is sharp. Very tastefully modified.

Have you ever tracked her ?

Nope, never been to the track. Don’t have any plans to, I’m a pretty conservative driver…but that car is fun!
