UltraFire HD2011 xml

Not a bad looking light

It would be good if we got it at $15 including shipping.

Pretty decent price. Do they charge shipping on top of that?

Here's another similarly sized XM-L design that looks appealing to me:

Yes they are pretty expensive on shipping i think about 6$ per light based on weight and depends on where on earth it's being shipped .

I've nevered bought from them ..but i hear things :P

people love the prices and then freak out when they find out what shipping is .generally they are about the same or cheaper than manafont.

edit: I like it... how2 is making his own prices ....that always kills me .

I'm hoping that the sellers read this and take note.

I think it's clear they aren't listening . :)

Just bought this light in a store in Ho Chi Minh city!
I’m a bit of a flashlight newbie, so bare with me.

Compared to the Ultrafire 502B (which I just bought today as well, yay!) it’s brighter with a wider flood, and has a shallower OP reflecter.
It has heat issues, I’m assuming because it’s driven reasonably hard with a small body. It gets hot within 30 seconds, and uncomfortable to hold at around 1 minute. Despite this I’m pretty happy, it looks and feels nicely built and it’s bright.

It seems to dim with extended use? I could be wrong as I’ve only had a brief play with it so far. If anyone wants more details I’ll see what I can do, however I’m going to be very busy over the next month or so so can’t promise too much…

This is the same as the DX Fandyfire 2011 deal a while back. It was like $14 shipped. I got one and I really like it. Well made and has a good amount of flood. Makes a great bike light and the strobe is actually useful for that role. Well worth the money, good light!

i Have seen a few posts on this light. Can i ask what are the appealing characteristics of this
particular light that the forum in general seems to admire? The pics are probably not revealing too much
and i have seen enough chatter to be interested enough to ask… Hummmm

It’s a true pocket rocket. One of the smallest size 18650 XM-Ls out there.

Fantastically bright driven at 2.8 A, but gets hot fast as quite a few have mentioned.

If you need something that will be used in something other than high often, but want the potential to get bright, this is a good choice.

My only complaint with mine is lack of memory, so it always switches on in High.

It’s a good bright little flooder if you’re into night riding, and it does have a certain novelty appeal, kind of like having a not too expensive but not too cheap metal/chrome pen, except this is way cooler as it is a powerful pocket sized XML flashlight. I’m quite happy with the little beasty.

The one I got was too tight for any of my protected cells. I tried Xtar 2600, Tennergy 2600 and Trustfire 2400 Flames. The first 2 would not go. The TF was too tight and tore the wrapper.

I tried a pair of CR123a and blew out the driver.

My trustfire protected 3000mah (2600mah actual) batteries seemed to fit rather snugly without tearing the wrapper.
