Apocalypse/spring is coming! LED propagation chamber for seed starting

Converted a plastic wash tub to a propagation chamber for seeds. Don’t mind the sawdust. Just starting it up and cleaning it down. The temperature of the chamber/tub is controlled by INKBIRD ITC-2000 temperature controller. The temperature probe goes in the chamber and turns on and off the led according to how I set the controller. Provides light and heat to bring upon the Apocalypse. 1.22 Million scovilles! I do have a small fan I run on the heatsink as well. Used an inexpensive Led connected to the mains. I was apprehensive about connecting directly to the mains but I have the ground running directly to my copper pipes. The controller relay should disconnect if there was an over temperature issue. Most likely not that efficient but this chamber isn’t on for too long of the year. Mostly dependent on what I’m trying to sprout.

I like that and those scorpions will slap you immediately!

I got purple Russian tomato plants! First photo is 3 days prior to getting planted under some Bridgelux 3000K 97 cri COB. Also, some pictures to show how even a couple small undervolted (5v) fans go a long way to cool this led. If anyone wants to try sprouting seeds, the use of a coffee filter prevents the tiny roots from grow into the paper towel. Scorpion peppers are notoriously slow to sprout and need quite a bit more heat than tomato seeds to get going. So, bring the heat on.
