Please recommend a vacuum sealer from the China sites

Hi guys,

I’ve decided to buy a vacuum sealer. Of course the China sites have a plethora. Is anyone able to help with a recommendation?

Do you have any experience with vacuum sealers? They need to use these embossed bags to vacuum. Normal bags will just collapse. There are some sealers with an extendable metal tube (some call it a snorkel) you can put in the bag so you can vacuum normal bags as well. What do you want to use it for?

Yes, I’m aware they need the special roll of plastic. I’m not trying to reuse other bags. Just want to use it for food storage. I have not used one before. There’s so many on BG, GB, FT, etc. that I have no idea which to buy!

I’ve used a “Sinbo” brand sealer with good results. Adjustable timer, extra heating element, capable of sealing very thick bags, stainless snorkel.

Whichever one you get, make sure it has...

the proper amount of suction!

I think the advanced ones can handle liquids too - they have some container and tubing behind. I’m only using the simple small white and orange one that’s only about the size of a roll of kitchen wrap. It works ok, maybe the heater could be wider. Sometimes it doesn’t seal properly.
