Li-ion Battery 26350 for Fitorch P25 overcharging

I tested the battery charger for Fitorch P25 with direct USB charging. Two batteries tested. Bought with a torch and one purchased separately. Both batteries are overcharged up to 4.32 volts !!! Both batteries tested repeatedly. This is not a fault of only one battery. Sometimes charging electronics do not stop charging at all and the battery is disconnected from overcharging. The red LED still indicates charging. Test your rechargeable batteries through the USB port. Battery for Fitorch P25 with direct USB charging I recommend charging with a standard charger and charging via USB port only if you do not have a standard charger. Overcharging reduces battery life. The Liitokala charger with a voltmeter is only used as a voltmeter. The voltmeter is calibrated and shows the correct values. Fitorch made me very disappointed.

Battery 2

I can also confirm that. I also got the Fitorch P25 with the included 26350 battery. It also overcharges to somewhere around 4.28-4.30v (voltage tested with a Fluke digital multimeter right after charging indicator indicates fully-charged).

I thought mine was just a fluke so I didn’t report it here.

Looks like that battery overcharging is common. Thanks for reporting it here.

Calibrated with? That type of voltmeter is not that accurate.

Is that charger standard or modded?

The voltmeter has a potentiometer. Calibrated and compared it to a conventional digital multimeter that has a measurement difference of up to 2 percent.

Modded Liitokala Lii-100.

Voltmeter and Switch Installation. The switch has three positions. ON-OFF-ON.
In one ON position, it monitors the battery voltage, the other ON monitors the USB voltage (power bank). OFF (center position) completely disconnects the voltmeter so that it does not consume battery power.

Thank you sir.
