BLF verification for Brave browser

I’d love to donate to BLF via the privacy oriented Brave browser (my ref link). It’s based on Chromium and is compatible with Chrome extensions. Think of it as Chrome with integrated anti tracking and anti ad extensions.

This would require sb to verify as a publisher first. At the time of writing this, there’s already 68917 content creators (867k as of 9/2020) in total who accept the donations as $BAT, which is the cryptocurrency the system uses. You can either choose to manually tip whatever site you want or automatically spend the coins in your wallet as you spend time on websites.

Also, you can enable curated notification ads which will pay you money as BAT tokens which you can then pay forward to the content creators you like.

Also, HKJ should do that too on lygte-info.dk :slight_smile:

I’d prefer to use a system that is browser agnostic.

I would prefer not giving Chromium based browsers even more market share, especially since knowing what Google does in terms of Web Standards.

Me too, for sure. I just haven’t come across anything as easy as this yet. Of course sb should also put Paypal donation buttons and crypto addresses somewhere visible :slight_smile:

The amount of verified creators has increased 10-fold from 70k to 800k since my original post. Please consider signing up for it SB :slight_smile:
