Ordered Thorfire S70S on 3/14 received on 3/29. Very fast shipping from China to US. Paid $37.26. Light is perfect.

This is THE WORST store ever. They cheat aliexpress system because they know that without proper customer service, they can’t be punished for their behavior.

Long version here: http://budgetlightforum.com/comment/1407498#comment-1407498

shorter version: They did not have flashlight I’ve ordered, so asked me to cancel order with reason “other” so the system does not see them as culprit. When I refused (I used “out of stock” reason) to use that reason (when order is not sent, it’s canceled automatically), they printed shipping label (tracking number), marked order shipped, but never shipped anything (tracking number never updated). I had to wait 60 days to open dispute (delivery timeout) before asking refund that they did not ship anything. After this, you can’t give any store feedback/rating, so they have zero punishment for this behavior. And because I was too quick with another order (forgot to check from which store I’m ordering), it happened to me twice already Angry

I ordered two convoy hosts from them yesterday for like 8 bucks each and they shipped this morning. Hopefully they arrive without issue.

You should be fine. The do business, so if they have what you ordered and it works, which I guess is most of time, it will be fine. When there is a problem, you will be screwed, because they know how AE system works and because AE does not have human customer support nor any way how to contat them (AE), you are completely powerless.

I’ve had better luck with AliExpress than Banggood. 3 out of my last 4 orders were cancelled. Placed many orders from AliExpress. Never a problem. Plenty of great stores on Ali like Convoy, Sofirn, Jaxman, Manta Ray and many others.

Sure, I had some issues with BG too, when what should have been in stock wasn’t (usually something with a coupon with a price nowhere else to be found), but they either cancelled my order immediately or asked if I want to wait or cancel. Even twice with waranty, never any problem (little expected stuborness) and I still have paypal behind my back on BG if there was any real issue (wasn’t any so far). Never happened before with any other store, that they fake sending anything. That’s not mistake, that’s not laziness, that’s intentional fraud. After this happened to me, I’ve spent hours trying to contact AE, because I thought that this store is a disgrace, damaging their brand and they should not allow them to behave this way. Well, I found out that there is no real customer service on AE anymore and if it isn’t anything “usual” that you can solve with a few clicks, you are completely screwed and this store knows it. That’s why I stopped shopping on AE, except from stores I already knew well like Convoy, Sofirn, Vapcell and a few arduino related stores.
