Looking for a little help

Hi guys, I am trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong or not. I have 3 Nanjg 105c drivers and all three of them will only do 1 mode of high. I have ben soldering for 40+ years so I am pretty sure the soldering is OK. The + of the led to the + pad and the - to the outer ring. Three different lights all hve the same issue. Does not matter about soldering the stars either. I am not sure what is going on here. I have installed drivers in other lights with no problem but these 3 heve me baffled. Any thoughts?

On the plus side one is in my Trustfire X9 with the forward clickie. I like it better this way than stock. Who needs different modes on an X9 ? When you get it out you are looking for max lumens anyway.

Thanks

You mustn't solder the LED's negative wire to ground. The 7135s are supposed to sit between the LED and ground, so you are bypassing the whole regulation. There is a pad next to the top left 7135, that is where your negative lead goes.

thanks! All is right with the universe now!
