If turbo can be memorized or in the mode sequence I’ll take at least 5 pieces. At least give us that option to program this if we would like it. But still keep the double click to turbo from off or in any mode.

Are there specs already? Lumens rating? Available LED tint? Is the UI still the same NarsilM v1.3?

I’m tempted to go with the Convoy M3 since these guys appear to be dragging their feet. At least a heads up or something.

Very interested – I’d love a CREE XHP70.2 version.

As the thread title changed lately what is the actual state of the light? Will there be two versions? XHP-70.2 and XHP-50.2?

The initial statement was 70.2, 50.2 is what has been recommended for the form factor. Personally, I’d prefer the 70.2 even if that meant a small price increase.

I’m curious to see how this ranks with my current lights. I’ll get it just for the beam shot comparisons.

Available? Where?
If you say available NOW, will there be a 70.2 version in the future?

They are still in the warehouse in China waiting to be shipped overseas.

That sst-40 test looks accurate enough, 4250 for the XHP50.2 is very close to what i’d expect a xhp70.2 to do in that form factor unless they go with an expensive driver but with probably double the CD.

Gonna heat up way too fast with an XHP70.2 too.

plus, 3v xhp50.2 is probably going to keep the cost WAY down.

Seems like the springs will be pushed to the limit, especially since this is a 26650 light.

By pushed, I meant in terms of current to support.

50.2 is still going to need a boost driver or no?

No, it’s a 3V XHP50.2.

It’s going to use the same FET+1 driver.

Nice. Should be the same NarsilM firmware as the SST version then.

I am interested in the 50.2. NW of course. CW if that’s the only option. May even grab 2.
