Tactical Light w/ mount and Pressure Switch???

Newbie here....

Looking for an XML 1x 18650 light that can withstand the recoil of a medium caliber rifle and can be fitted with a pressure switch and mount. Probably a single mode light would be best suited.

Welcome to BLF

I use an R2 because it throws so well. This setup has held up to hundreds of 7.62x39 rounds completely stock. People say you need to pot the pill (pack it full of adhesive) but I have been using this one stock as an experiment and it has held up fine. Just make sure whatever you use has a spring on each end of the battery so one on the pill and one on the tail cap to absorb the recoil.

Thanks for the link and review. At less than $16 delivered I had to pull the trigger (pun intended). Still looking for more options, have more than one toy awaiting a light.

I was looking at a Sunforce L2T setup that was almost 4 times the cost. But then again it might be almost 4 times the light.

My light arrived today:)

Only 12 days from Dino Direct

Took it to work and everyone wants one. Price went up to over 25.00 shipped though.:-(

I'd suggest going with a Solarforce L2T and adding a remote switch.

Ah the pressure switch at MF for less than 3 usd works perfectly. Many flashlights will sustain recoil well. Batteries are the real problem. I would go for xtar's since those have been tested for weapon use apparently. Don't recall where did i read that but it's supposedly true (CPF?!?).

Perhaps a solarforce L2P or similar + 1 mode dropin of choice, alu foil, MF pressure switch voila! Be sure you have a decent spring on the positive end (drop-in). XTAR's either 2400, 2600 or 3100 whichever suits you best.

Or get this one:

All weapon stuff inclusive. Looks nifty, and the Q5 is still no slouch for throw if you need that. Unwanted modes can be disabled on the tz-20 easily. The XM-L will be rather on the flood side in a p60 host or similar sized flashlight.

Plenty other options out there these came to my mind 1st.
