Clone knives shipped to Canada

Questions to Canadians, just purchased a ZT 0620 clone from DHGate. Tracking indicates that it was with the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA).

I know autos, balisong and folders that can be opened with the flick of the wrist are illegal.

Will the Emerson Wave or clone knives be an issue with CBSA?

Any folding knife a CBSA agent can flick open after minimal manipulation may be seized. CBSA has their own interpretation of the Criminal Code and makes up their own rules about prohibited knives. Many knives that are legal to own in Canada according to police and courts are now illegal to import. The Canadian government recently dismissed an e-petition calling for this situation to be fixed. I no longer import knives or travel out of the country with anything I wouldn’t be ok losing at the border.

Thanks Bob,
I am not worried if it open by the flick of the wrist. It should have a strong detent.
More concerned if it will be confiscated because it is a clone…manufacturer copy rights.
