Gents,

I’m not able to use the correct search terms to yield the results I am looking for. Kindly accept my apology for asking this question because I KNOW it been discussed before… :innocent: :cry:

Ive 2 of these units. I use the 18650 batteries and eneloop Sanyo AA batteries.

When I put the 18650s on, i. Have to wiggle the battery between the posts JUUUSSTTTTT right so the unit can detect them. Any slight movement of the battery and the charger will not detect the battery. I’m convinced this is because the metal posts on the charger are not “oriented” (lack of a better term) to properly mesh up with the 18650. The AAs have no problems.

So i know this has been addressed before. Can someone kindly suggest a remedy to this?

I have no issues with mine. Can you post some photos showing how the batteries and terminals connect/touch?

Maybe adding magnets to convert it to "button top" can solve it

Not able to take photos but the above post mentioning magnets would probably help.

Maybe if i just “bend” the spring posts so it mates up /kisses the bottom of the 18650 battery.

Ill remember to take a photo and post. Ive had these chargers for a year or so and since I’m using 18650s after getting the BLF GT flashlight is when i started to notice this issue.
