Word is Durant will be back for game 5. How effective he’ll be? is anyone’s guess.

… if Durant plays tonight I hope Golden State gets destroyed! And I am a die hard Golden State fan. The ‘news’ about his coming back has not been handled well is an understatement.

prediction if Durant plays:

both he and Klay will reaggravate their injuries Wink

Klay will be fine, but Durant is a big ? Cousins is a bust. If Toronto can keep up their intensity on defense, and keep shooting like they have, this Championship is in the bag

Hate to see it, but Durant goes down with 9:46 left in the second. He’s going to need the entire off season to come back from that injury.

well, it was a DELIGHT to see the Dubs lighting it up for a quarter anyway! Durant just too competitive to try and take it easy. All over now.

I hated Durant joined his competitor years ago. I thought he was coward. Now I feel sorry that he got injured again in G5. He shouldn’t have played today. I hope this won’t ruin his career.

Finally, a close game in the Finals!

With Durant out, the Warriors have their work cut out for them in Game 6.

poor performance by Toronto. not many 3pointers. this is not how a champion plays!

so i am gonna root for the Raptors.

interesting to see KD getting reinjured at his thin calves again. maybe some muscle building next time?

I had a feeling he was going to re-injure it. Hopefully it’s just strained again and not torn. He’s played 850 official NBA games so far in his career, and many more including high school, college, USA Basketball (olympics), and off season clinics. I’m sure conditioning isn’t a problem with him, like it wasn’t with Kobe Bryant’s achilles injury.

Durant has given whatever he has. I can’t believe the team let him play in the risk of ruining his career.

agree. Reading he might be OUT all next year, and some are never the same. That would be tragic.

not sure I’ll get over watching a Toronto player driving the lane and laying the ball in the basket, while 3 Warriors stand around and watch.

Congrats to Toronto

Wait, is it the second FMVP of Kawhi ?

I was Kobe’s fan and didn’t notice Kawhi was a super player that time already.

Anyway, he proved himself to be one of the top 3 players, or top 1?

Yes, he was MVP in 2014 with the Spurs championship vs Miami Heat
