Interested in this work light upgraded version?

Hey guys,

one of my friends asked me to upgraded this work light. Anything execpt mold related can be changed, such as new led, new batteries, charging speed etc.

Are you interested in this kind of work light/food light? How do you upgrad it?

emitter: 15W (No brand)

tint: 5500K-6000K

output: 700 Lumens

battery: 2*2000mAh

input: 5V 1A

output: 5V 2A

material:aluminum

UI: low mid high, red light

Higher capacity batteries for starters, and maybe add another couple if there’s space.

A serious worklight starts at 5000 lumen, so this will never become one because it is too small to dissipate the heat.

But you can probably upgrade the led with a more efficient one from a serious brand.

Question, I do not see the red light source, is the red integrated in the main COB ?

I would be interested but I expect at least 2x 21700 5000mah cells for extended run times. I can see this as a perfect gift for contractors if there is a reasonable output mode that can last 8 hours and I definitely buy a bunch for that purpose. I would like to see multi emitter HI CRI emitters like this.

You might be able to source the board and emitters from Clemence at Virence.com
Virence VS35SP36 MCPCB - cost effective (High CRI) General Lighting solution

check these two videos. the battery compartment only accept 3 18650 batteries, I don't know if 2* 21700 will be possible.

@Barry, check out Bridgelux LEDs for this kind of work light:

These are great for it, are brighter, have much better color reproduction, and the like.

Neutral white, Hi CRI, long run time, greater sustainable output, waterproof, shock resistant, fast recharging… same wishlist as most lights.
