They have two. Regular and VIP-only. The latter is supposed to be given priority, but as far as I can tell that's the only difference.

That chat I would have to say was useless and they were just saying whatever you wanted to hear like they say to everyone else.

Thanks for looking into our orders. One suggestion, can you add a feature on your website that shows an item is "out of stock", "backordered" or "discontinued".

It is very frustrating for all us who paid for the entire order and later got a message from DD saying some items are out of stock while some are shipped.

Thanks Summer.  I think this order so far has went a lot better.  And I told you that already on my comment to you on how fast you guys shipped this one.  I think I'm going to like this Sunwayman V60C.  I'll let you know when I get it as well as my BC40.

So DD can not cancel orders...or they are dishonest about cancelling...

 

I go on the chat and talk to "Sharon"....yeah right her name is Sharon.

 

Anyway I cancel my order.  Sharon says its cancelled.  A few days later I go back on the website, and talk again to Sharon.  I ask for my order status to check, without mentioning its cancelled.

 

She tells me its out of stock, will ship soon...LOL, so they just say whatever to get you off chat then do whatever they want.  (No PP refund either.)

 

Still it doesnt really mater, I know thats what you get with China, but still.  Im not even mad or anything, my story is just to let other people know.

In chat EmilY told me if you can add anything to your cart it means its in stock. Thats when I was asking why only why 1 out of 12 items shipped and was asking why only 1 shipped unless they are out of stock. 

I already said to Summer I would prefer to wait a month for someone being honest than be lied to even if its only a few days delay.

I had the same issue with chat also, just saying what I wanted to hear but they changed the story 3 times in the 1 session.

Ordered place on 30th December (3 items total), selected FedDex

1st item received on 10th January via EMS

2nd item received on 21st January via regular mail

3rd item out of stock, replaced with Gift Card

Not impressive but borderline passable experience.

I wonder if they really use Fedex/DHL/UPS... It seems all orders that ask for Fedex/DHL. ship using regular mail or EMS.. without informing the buyer.

They have lied to me on instant chat. They will tell you they will follow up or email you but just say that to get you off chat and then hope you go away. There is nothing that bothers me more than being lied to or people not doing what they say they will do. My bottom line advice with DD is gamble if you like but do not trust them to do what they say. If you are in doubt, cancel your order or file a PP claim before time expires.

I decided to let the paypal dispute I opened against Dinodirect stay open as long as possible before escalating to a claim, and today is the last day before the dispute is automatically cancelled.  Lucky for Dinodirect, there was a slip in the mail box saying there was a package for me at the post office.  Unfortunately, I can't pick it up until tomorrow.

So, I am now faced with the decision of escalating it to a claim tonight or take the chance that the package waiting for me is from dinodirect, the correct item (UF-H3), and in good working order.

Anyone have any experience with paypal claims and whether they can be cancelled after initiated?

I just received a Nitecore IFE2 and a Jetbeam BC20, both for ~$99 from DD, exactly a month after placing my order.

They both work fine and Summer was very helpful when I contacted her (also DD customer support via ticket was very helpful too).

It was my first order with DD and everything went smooth.

Doing what i do best, researching an item i have already purchased, im not sure if im looking for good or bad reviews, spirit always high though, nothing but good, or for price changes, or if dino has gone extinct, but i checked out, looked into the idinor membership while i was there, and they have it for 6.99 a month as it turns out, hilarious, has anyone paid for that here at blf, i mean we are blfers so...? Also what i know, and have known, but did not notice from the many times i read the reviews for my flashlight, thats what we call them here in the good ole usa, and no, reviews dont change, reviews dont grow legs and go for lizard rides, but they all sounded cookie cutter, and generic, like they got their best english speaking and typing employee to do something during his/her lunch break in between fried rice and chow mien, ok ok, im asian i can go there... We all know they are fabricated, but the thing is, do they know we know. all the reviewers have western names, yet the reviews... hopeless... thats all i can say. Cause it seemed like a 50/50 split between reviewers, who would have thought women dug lights too, well not me I think i can honestly say if blf had a party, wed have plenty of sausage to go around. I think most BLF'ers and myself included get something from DD only when they get an awesome deal. Along with the usual "rain dance" finger crossing invovled to hopefully get it without flaws or the right thing. No one fancy red lips phones.

The XM-L's 504B were very decent for 13usd or even less. I ended up modding all mine since the stock drivers were rather unsatisfying. Averything else was pretty fine for the price paid.

It's the occasional deal that make them sell on blf, pretty much the only reason probably.

Well I must say that my Jetbeam BC40 was perfect.  And I got a smooth reflector that throws even farther thant the OP ones.

I just placed my first order for a Klarus P2A and this is my history:

After paying with paypal I saw my orders page and my order was there. I printed an invoice but its price is different from what I really paid (after using a coupon I paid US$ 28.69 including insurance). Invoice shows US$ 31.69. After printing my invoice I refreshed my orders page and my order just disappeared.

Well, after all these issues I hope I will receive a tracking number and my flashlight.

I have to admit, after more than 50 orders from china providers in last 3 years I have not had any issue with any of them including dealextreme, kaidomain, suntek and manafont. I hope DinoDirect is not the first one.

EDITED: In fact my order didn't disappeared. It was moved from unpaid to paid.

( the DD account/invoice does not include giftcards, for example. but it does account for dinopoints and coupon codes. )

Thank you for your reply. In fact "the DD account/invoice does not include giftcards" clarifies my invoice. I guess everything is ok with my order.
