Trustfire XP-E F23 Question

hey just got my latest order in from Dino Direct. I seem to be having bad luck with DD. My first order a month or so ago I got unprotected instead of the desired protected 18650 battery's. This problem was fixed a new set was shipped out to me(thanks). Then a week later I had another order that sat in out of stock statues for 3 weeks until I cancelled it(got a refund).

Now my latest order and the point of this topic. I ordered a xp-e F23 that does not work whats so ever (will not light upin any mode). Just looking for some help, three things for certain I have a good/charged battery installed in the proper direction, and the tail cap on/off switch is working. Tested with my DMM. Is there anything else I should be looking for to get this baby to work. Thanks for any help. Very nicely built light by the way, just wish it worked.

Iā€™d check all of the solder points on the driver and led. Also a good cleaning of all threads with some rubbing alcohol and lube them. Also make sure the pill is making good contact to the body. Not sure how the pill grounds, some of mine ground out on the sides of the pill, and some on the bottom lip of the pill making contact to a lip on the body tube

This light is known for not working. I bought one and it stopped working after 5 mins of use. All I can offer is try the paperclip trick first since it is a SS light.

I ordered the ak007 driver from DX . Dropped right in. No idea if it is 14500 compatible (the light is for my daughter, eneloops only). Hi-lo-strobe with no memory.

Light works like a charm again.

Since it's a AAA light i hope it isn't....:P

Smartass...

definitely not 14500 compatible and not sure if it is 10440 compatible either...
