Lumintop EDC05C still available at a reasonable price?

Hi guys, is the Lumintop EDC05C still available at a reasonable price anywhere?
I tried Banggood, but had to cancel, as it suddenly wasn’t available after ordering, with a long time before availability again. So wasn’t sure if it was really available.
Good price at £27 ($34). I know there was a members deal a while back before I joined. Gearbest is advertising them, but at £54 ($68) which is too much for me.

i think i saw lasttime BG will get them in next month july… think its the best deal over there…

question for me is still is a battery included or not? cant figure it out…

Yes, on the Lumintop Store on AE here
Still 199 pieces available (maybe new batch?)

Thanks for the info mortuus
I have not seen one with a battery offered.

Thanks for the info!
That’s a little pricey for such a small light. I have not used AliExpress before, will have a look.

Send a PM to freeme or M4D M4X requesting an available discount code. I am sure they both have a coupon code available.

My recent purchase from Banggood using the code from freeme.

Lumintop EDC05C XHP35 HI + 4x Nichia NCSLE17 LEDs 7Modes Micro USB …14500 Li-ion battery “NOT” included.

Total: US$31.29 including shipping USA

When I ordered back in May, the picture showed a battery, but the description didn’t include it.

I won’t know if I get a battery or not, until my lights arrive, which still might be a few weeks.

No battery came with mine. I have not seen any description that states the battery is included.

I paid $30.79 each for mine ($61.48 with insurance and shipping) May 24.

The picture of what came in the package from Banggood at that time definitely showed a battery. No battery was mentioned in the list of parts.

My lights haven’t shipped.

The last picture in this link shows a battery.

The text of the description clearly states battery not included.

You can see why there might be confustion.

I just chatted with banggood and the online guy assured me that I don’t get batteries, even though they were shown the picture of what’s in the ad.

He wouldn’t even suggest which batteries to use.

Now I have to determine which batteries to buy and where to buy them. I know where I won’t be buying them.

I’m not pleased.

Edited to add that I couldn’t post a picture of what was supposed to be included, how was the above picture captured that doesn’t show the battery?

Is this the picture some of you are referring to……
.

.
I guess I can see how there might be a bit of confusion. But it is probably more of a case of wishful thinking that the battery be included. :money_mouth_face: .
Because the battery is clearly NOT listed as included.

What is the “Metal Sheet” thing used for, mine was missing??

what do you do with ‘metal sheet’?

or is that ‘unwishful thinking’?

“Metal Sheet” is actually a flat screwdriver to assist with the installation of an included optional magnet.

What are you even talking about??

Break it down please……

Actually no.

It is a flat screwdriver needed to unscrew the tailcap to install the battery.

The removable magnet comes pre-installed in the tailcap, but the light does not come with a battery. Personally, I’d rather they made the tailcap removable by hand without fancy tools. It would have been so simple to design a tailcap that could be removed by hand for this light and doing so would have increased the light’s flexibility.

Oh…Ok…… thanks for that info my friend. How I missed that picture, I’ll never know. . :person_facepalming: . .

oh
couldn;t you just use a random coin?
wle

I stand corrected … :student:

Of course you could. You can use ’anything’ that will fit in the slot & is strong enough to twist the tail plug open.
