Cop Light On Cops (guess what light)

Most of the time, you can't really get a good look at the lights being used on Cops (too dark, moving too fast, too grainy, etc).

This one was pretty clear.

Took me about 10 minutes to find this light on the internet. This was on the newest episode of Cops last week. Lee County, Florida (Sheriff dept).

Can you identify brand/model?

I often wondered what is the most used light by Law enforcement these days. My guess is Streamlight.
I know back in the day it was Maglight, until they lost their way in the LED revolution.

Wow how were you able to find it just by a pic? Impressive.

That light only makes 800lumens and cost $115. They are better off with an Olight Seeker 2 Pro

It may be very tough and always works, and you pay for that?
(no idea about Streamlight)

Well, I was expecting the Atomic Beam : )

It also has a lifetime warranty. I personally would agree with SKV89 about the Olight. I don’t know about the durability of this light, but Olights are tanks. Pretty cool find though.

djozz, in my experience, I like Streamlight. They do seem very solid, but there are definitely better brands. They are just better known to those like us vs Streamlight which I have seen available in regular stores.

I see, thanks.
I had a look at their line-up and found the USB-rechargable COB-key a fun gadget

Yes, I was surprised to find it was a Dorcy. I see their cheaper lights at big box stores regularly.

I guess I never realized they made “high-end” lights.
