Your small claim have no sense, of understanding AliExpress rule policy. That’s why company websites overseas don’t accept no USA customer but I myself only. Sometimes, for various reasons; tracking numbers just do not work. As an example…. I received a package Saturday that Tracking never updated from the ‘Label Created” stage.
Yet… it was delivered to my door.

Patience is a virtue. Wink

Contacting the seller sometimes helps also.

It still amazes me that to date….. I have always received every package sent me. Thumbs Up

You most likely will too…..

Update:

I had ordered an L6 and four batteries.
On a different day I ordered 2 additional batteries (I also ordered an S70S and that came from a different store).
I did receive the S70S and YESTERDAY I received the TWO BATTERIES, which were from Simon.
I got a message back from Simon today.
It stated that the package “was returned” – no idea what that means.
He sent me a DHL tracking number, which basically shows a label was made but there is no actual package receipt, It also shows a weight of .011 pounds, clearly not a flashlight and 4 batteries.
I now discovered that the original order of the L6 and 4 batteries, and the later order of two batteries (received) are listed on the same order number at Aliexpress!
So that may be where the problem lies. When I inquire about the order, it comes up as the two batteries, but not the original order.

Anyway, I am confused! Since Simon has responded, hopefully it will be straightened out.

What store is this Simon guy running? I’ve never had a single issue with AliExpress. I bought my Xiaomi Mi 9, my wife’s Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, screen protectors, small motors, phone battery, phone cases, so much stuff! I’ve never not received an item.

It’s all about choosing the right sellers.

Don’t be too upset about that guy that has stock in AliExpress. He made me laugh. After all, we are all just stupid fat Americans that need to go to school. Because tracking numbers are only for the educated, ya doofuses!

It seemed like he was trying to say that we are all uneducated, but then he himself never finished getting a college degree. It almost definitely should be posted to this subreddit.

FYI he said he is having problems with customs in HK with batteries, so switched to DHL.
Now I have heard that DHL shipments often incur duties on this side, so we will see.

Ali has “upgraded” their iPhone app so it no longer works with iOS 7 (my old hand-me-up phone given to me when the young folks in the family bought newer ones).
Apple used to offer an older version but doesn’t in this case. My iPhone won’t accept a newer version of iOS (v8 is necessary for the new Ali app).
And the app I have been using won’t work at all, just offers an update that won’t work with my iPhone.

Left behind by progress ….

Of course Ali offers no way ontheir website to ask for them to allow me to continue shopping with them.

That doesn’t exactly tell me this sellers story though? I guess I can assume it’s “convoy flashlight store”

I’m cheap so I’ve bought lots of stuff from China on eBay and recently discovered Aliexpress and Bangood, and also other what I call Americanese shops like TomTop that shop from the US and mainland China. Things I look for when buying from the far East. The seller rating and feedback are first and foremost. Second is the shipping method (do they offer more than one? Like SpeedPak, eship, China Post, etc.) and price. I experience more order failures on items with free shipping.

Avoid buying batteries from China unless you have a verified good seller who sells genuine cells. It’s better to spend $1 extra per cell to get the real ones.

Also, keep your expectations low. You get what you pay for most of the time. Don’t expect to get your order in a week or two or sometimes even 3 weeks. Plan on getting it eventually. Like others have mentioned take tracking numbers with a grain of salt. On cheaper items, like under $5, forget it unless you want a fake transaction ID that perpetually tells you your item is in transit or clearing customs.

I ordered a digitizer for a Chinese tablet and it took the seller a month before I demanded a refund because the tracking showed it was in San fransisco for like 2 weeks. I ordered another one from a known good seller and it was at my door in 10 days. I order drivers from Aliexpress from the Wankedun Chain First Store and am extremely satisfied with the shipping speed and prices. t’s taken several failed orders, but I’ve figured out how to buy from overseas and get good success.

Sirstinky makes very good points.

I'd like to add that if you have a bad experience with one AliExpress seller, I say avoid that specific seller, and in the future try to pick more reliable sellers on AliExpress.

I wouldn't avoid all of AE just because some sellers are not reputable.

There are plenty that are worth buying from.

You really should try Convoy, they are great, solid lights at a very decent price.

I’ve ordered many things over the years from AliExpress, and have not had any issues to speak of. My most recent order was a Convoy C8+ that took 16 days to arrive. I usually get their packages in 18-22 days, not to shabby at all.
I’m trying Goodbang for the first time. It has been 15 days so far, we will see how they fare against AliExpress.

Stay away aliexpress, I lost some orders , I contacted sellers, they all let me wait till over dispute time, after that they never replied my messages, and aliexpress didn’t help out. Also, some of my order of seeds of flower were all fake articles.

You just don’t want to order batteries from Aliexpress (or from other Chinese sites) and expect them all to arrive. Period.

You are dealing with shipments of dangerous goods, and most common carriers are not going to allow that. Neither Chinese customs nor IATA will allow this without a proper paperwork. I rely on local sellers for the order of batteries (who, of course, managed to do all the customs paperwork properly), and you should too.

Searching for High CRI leds since 2010...

Has finally gotten to the bottom after 10 years of delving deep into that rabbit hole of them high CRI lights...

High CRI, high quality lights doesn't need to be expensive, or is it?

That’s the other part of the equation…know what you’re buying. Do research and use common sense. If it seems fishy like $30 light with a single XHP70.2 with 50,000 lm or a drill with a 10ah battery and 150 volts, then you probably are getting a 2500lm light with a knock off counterfeit led and a 20 volt drill with a 2ah battery. $3 Samsung 30q’s don’t exist. $4 is still pushing it without a discount. If they’re under $4, probably rejects or re wrapped 26F’s.

I bought 18650GAs from a place going out of business below wholesale for $2.80 ea that’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen genuine ones. Just know what you’re getting into when Chinese window shopping.

The kind of energy you project matters. Your consciousness, your energy and your own matter are consequences of yourself and your subconscious beliefs.

In my particular case, I receive my packages quickly and seldom with issues. When issues or mishaps happen I usually get them solved fast, and if sellers refuse or ignore my always fair proposals I kick their arses, i.e. the AliExpress tribunal decides in my favour. I always handle the required evidence and win disputes.

Batteries in AliExpress? Plenty of good ones. But know what you're buying, cheap cells usually come from chinese OEMs, bear this in mind. It's really not bad to buy them, but please do so without fake or unnecessarily spurious wraps.

don’t reply your message, it is his fault
but for shipping, it is not buyer problem , when the package left the seller, they can’t do nothing , only wait same with you . they can’t control his post office , customs . even they can’t contact your post office and customs. even fedex can’t do that , only let you wait . don’t think the seller can do anything
for aliexpress rule, when the shipping time is over 60day, you can put a dispute and win the dispute …
this is aliexpress rule , not seller problem

I have been using aliexpress for around 7 years, and in that time i have made a little over 8000 orders

I would say that around 80% of these went without a hitch , the remainder ended in dispute almost always for non arrival rather than bad goods. most of these cases were resolved by aliexpress judgement rather than the seller.

In this time i have lost my money ONCE because I stupidly allowed the order to time out then closed the dispute when the seller promised to reship (a mistake i did not repeat)

I would also add that in the last couple of years the success rate has been more like 95% I believe this is because sellers have learned which couriers to avoid and tend now to use the more reliable ones.
