Turbo safe on Fireflies E07 with Nichia 219B?

I have a Fireflies E07 with Nichia 219B R9080 CRI98 and am running it with a Samsung 50E battery (9.8A continuous / 14.7 A pulse). Could running it on turbo damage the LEDs?

The Anduril thermal management should prevent damage even with a high setting with the 50E. Just don’t do anything silly like repeatedly activating turbo to the point the light gets too hot to hold, though that is more likely to damage the optic first.

Just don’t use any battery capable of more than 10A continious. If the leds get 14A that is 2A per led which should be save.

I have the same flashlight as yours (Fireflies E07 with Nichia 219B). Bought it a month ago with a Samsung 40T cell. Is this the perfect cell for the flashlight? Thank you!

Samsung 40T is safe to use for E07

Thanks for your reply. I just read some articles that says the Nichia 219b can’t handle the discharge rate of the 40T.

So far mine is working fine been using it for almost a month in the port yard. maybe lets asked the opinion of the expert here......Samsung 40T and 30T have the same discharge rate of 35A

Mine works fine too with a 40T in it however, I seldom use top ramp or turbo because of what I’ve read on the net that the 40T might fry the emitters. Nonetheless, A Sammy 50E is on its way. Thanks buddy! Stay safe.
