[WTB] Single-Cell 12v XHP50.2 driver board in 16mm format?

I am planning to test some LEDs I bought from China. However, I only realized just now that the XHP70’s in the flashlight are commonly 6v version instead of 12v. It’s been a PITA to even find a 12v driver board, let alone finding the right size.

I’d prefer a 16mm format since most of my spare lights are using 16mm board.

Would be great if anyone here want to sell, or know where to get one.

I guess you bought some 12V XHP70s and now you only find 6V drivers?

There is no 6V version and 12V version of XHP-70. CREE made both the XHP-50 and XHP-70 to be dual voltage. Only the MCPCB is different.

Well, it’s not exactly a XHP70, but some other similarly looking LED that only runs on 12v.

You could use three Li ion batteries in series to direct drive the led. You need a contact board, leads & soldered spring where the battery positive connects. Depending on the length of the battery tube, you can use 18350s, 18500s, 18650s, 26350s, 26500s, 26650s. It'll be a hot light so high drain batteries may not be the best choice.
