14500/AA budget EDC compact with tactical feature?

I am looking for small edc light with AA/14500, small enough to be concealed in my fist (ideally 9cm length and 2cm diameter). Since my bad experience getting assaulted when walking home at night, I am looking one with basic tactical feature :

  • Tail clicky switch
  • Should be capable of 500lumens+ on outburst
  • Fast and consistent access to turbo / strobe, i.e. double click or triple click

I like the form factor of Lumintop Tool AA v2.0 but the UI is not suitable. Other flashlight that I encounter is Fitorch EC10, it’s at bit too long and UI is still not perfect.

My ideal UI

  • Always start on low
  • Double click from any mode to turbo
  • Triple click from any mode to strobe

Could anyone point which flaslight if such exist?

Update: looking for budget friendly here, with price around $25

EagTac has what you want. Their implementation is more thought-out too, than what you’ve described. But nearly the same. No offence intended.

Go for a bigger light you can use as s weapon?

Overall i don’t think a light will help much in this situation. Our laws seem to be on the criminals side its sad.

Yeah mate. Even when our home is broken into, we are to comply.

Well I cannot see myself physically fit for a fight. It’s just for random opportunistic attack. My purpose for the flashlight is just to buy few seconds for escape. My main self defense tool is my running shoes.

Look at the Xanes. ZT01 runs a 18350 cell 350 lumens.
That’s enuff for a dazzle in eyes.

It’s stainless. Decent weight in hand. L-M-H- with double click to Strobe from anywhere.

But. Seriously. You’ve been assaulted? once.
Go to a saddlery. Stock feed place Buy a SHORT cattle prod.
and carry that round in the area you scared of.
Otherwise.

Get a Taxi/UBER home. Don’t risk a whatever for a coupla $$$‘s.

Check the 2018 version Klarus XT1A.
1000 lumens, instant access to turbo and low/strobe depending on the mode you choose.
A bit out of your budget, but you can probably find it for $32-33 with a coupon.
