AceBeam W30, BLF GT & GT70, ET. MC25C2-T - in a little long distance beamshot comparison

Because during the last months and weeks it was a BLF GT70 with a shaved dome LED made by Lexel and even
an AceBeam W30 LEP flashlight that found their way home to “daddy”, there were two good reasons to put some
lightnin’ stuff together and having a little late night trip to the nearby banks of the Lower Rhine river.

As mentioned in the title, live on stage are

First beam target is once again the basement area of a big power pole placed at the western bank of the Lower Rhine river, but from a place decently more far away, so that the beam distance should be about ~1100 m. !
Camera manuell mode: iso – 100 , time – 5 sec. , blend – F 5.6
First picture of every flashlight is in natural distance , the second one is with 11 x optical zoom.

The dark night

For some better overview, the zoom pics reduced to 400 pix.

The second target is once more the local 165 m high cooling tower from a meanwhile abandoned coal-fired power plant in our quite little small town.
The beam distance is about 580 m /* +*-
Camera manuell mode: iso – 100 , time – 4 sec. , blend – F 5.6
First picture of is in natural distance , the second one is with 11 x optical zoom.

The dark night

For some better overview, the zoom pics reduced to 400 pix.

For the big finale some quite nonsensical pics of the (i.m.o.) really fantastic beautiful magically beam of light comming out by the AceBeam W30 just blowing into the infinite darkness of the night sky.

Great beamshots!

Is the Acebeam W30 that green tinted in person, or is it just the white balance of the camera?
Is the white balance configured to be the same in all shots, or does it vary?

No the AceBeam W30 isn’t that green tinted as it seems.
I guess that the tints you can see in these pics might be caused by a combination of a slightly bad choice for the white balance configuration of the camera, which was the same in all these beamshots, but even more by the dirty grey coloured surface of the concrete, wherefrom the light gets reflected.

Thanks for the great shots. It makes me want to go ahead with the conversion of my BLF-GT to XHP70.2, shaved. I have the parts but not the time. These beamshots show how well it performs!

Thanks for sharing these great shots of some of the best throwers available. I was considering picking up a Acebeam W30, but now think I should convert my xhp35 BLF GT.
