Nice comparison! How’s the tint on the SW30? Is that the one from Azhu’s group buy?

the sw30 is from trailhunter, a 9050 that I find very pleasant, like a slightly orange sunset. It is a very close match for incandescent.

I have not tried the sw30 9080 from azhu, I do have a triple with his N219b sw35 9080, plus had one of his sw35 9080 in an HDS… Im not sure exactly why, but I dont really like the 219B sw35 9080… as much as the E21a 3500k. I also like the 219b sw30 better than the 219b sw35.

The E21a 3500k is less yellow than the 219b 3500k 9080
and the sw30 is more orange than the 219b 3500k

otoh, it is easier to get a good beam in an RRT-01 w reflector and 219b, than w E21a… Im going to try a few different reflector and centering ring options, to try and get the E21a beam optimized in an RRT-01 (without resorting to diffusion).
