Hi everyone the h17f is my favorite 17mm driver and im looking for a 4 amp regulated version or how to modify a h17f to disable fet and run 4 amps ish max. Ill be using this 4 amp max driver for my white flate 1mm builds. Ive been using qlite 4amp drivers with guppydrv universal from mountain but i really prefer the h17f customizability. I know randy from pflex pro had h17fs that had no fet and higher regulated max but his site is down. Anyones input is appreciated thanks
You would have to stack 2 or 3 more 7135’s on to the driver or add a slave board with 7135’s
That leaves you with another problem to solve. The chips will stick out past the brass button and may not allow you to use a retaining ring. If you use a slave board (on the other side) then you might not have enough room in the driver cavity.
