Aspheric Hosts (Large with good thermal sinking)

Hi all, I’ve been messing around with various lenses and hosts trying to get the best results and im wondering how far I can go with this system

So far i have tried Jax z1, nightmaster nm400 800 and Xsearcher Crelant 7g5cs and a range of different lenses from aliexpress what im finding is the larger the Aspheric is the tighter the beam and so far nothing i have tried has been able to rival the crelant with a white flat using the 7g5ch head (now discontinued) it has a 65mm aspheric and will project a beam far smaller than any off the others, the down side is its not a great host in terms of heat path and im stuck in the low amps.

So… Where to go from here I see that a few of the super throwers MF04 , BLF GT are using XHP35 HI’s other considerations are SBT70 & SBT90 (gen 2)

the question is are there any aspheric hosts out there that would fully make use of them , the lens is going to need to be pretty big and the thermal path and heat sinking properties also

I maybe wrong but i have a hunch a decent aspheric setup with a colar and good quality lens could perform pretty well if it used the same emitter as the big boys?

You may have to build your own if you want 100mm or over. My 100mm and 145mm test host next to a convoy L6

The middle one is dual lens100mm 63mm runs taskled h6flex now has 1mm2 osram and the beam looks like this in the fog. I have been passing it around to shooters at work. It will easily out throw a 10inch halogen spotlight

This is dual lens 145mm 100mm taskled h6flex with xhp35 HI testing host next to acebeam w30 at about 40m

200m there is lots of ambient light

Haha love it, that looks insane!

Anyone tried one of these 75mm aspheric host

That one has basically no heatsinking - like so many of them.
Even the very good CPF Cometa has no good heatsinking when in flood-position. In throw, it is just a little bit better, but still not really good.

Maybe the way via a new, smaller die-LED is easier?
OSRAM KW CSLNM1.TG

I am already running with those, and they are fantastic! its just finding the best host for it

I expected something good from the Nightmaster Xsearcher but the beam focus was terrible and the lens quality no where near good enough for the Osram as you can see in these photos that secondary halo around the end of the beam is actually being caused by reflections inside the head and there is no way to fix it easily also the top bezel creates a strange artifact in the beam
250m

Skybound

I also agree that Uniquefire host does look a little nasty… but not many other options with 70mm+ lenses

You might want to check UF-1405. Big bastard, huge mass, but it seems to have average heat conductivity.
