Another imalent down, help

Well guess I bragged about my imalent dx80 too much. I rarely used it, once or twice a month to scare some animal out of my yard. Never long term usage and sure not on turbo. I think it’s only been charged 3 or 4 times since I got it last summer.

Well I picked it up to use it to roll my trash can out last night and it wouldn’t come on. Checked battery voltage and nothing on the screen. Pulled out my meter and checked the pack, full charged.

Been awhile since I checked out the issues these had so anybody point me in the direction of the common problems to look at on it? It should still be under the 60 month warranty (won it 3/28/18) but if it’s something simple I’d rather just do it rather than dealing with the shipping headache.

Thanks

You are going to have to fault find it, I would start with checking power is getting all the way to the neck section. if you are lucky it might be something silly like a bad connection, looking at those little spring loaded connectors on the top of the pack (body section) im guessing those have matching connection strips on the bottom of the neck section where the main pcb lives if one of those is stuck or the spring has melted or something it might not be connecting well with the neck section , if you can get the front of it check to see if you actually have power coming in to the pcb with the screen.

Looks like you are not the first to have problems with this unit
