Long throw flashlight

Am looking for a not wildly expensive long throw light to work in search and rescue situations. Any recommendations?

Seen this: MHVAST TS35 XHP35 HI 2100LM Type-C Rechargeable 26650 Powerful Flashlight.

Any good? Any others?(looked on Nitecore site too) and any with BLF codes?

thanks!

s. 18650 powered is preferred as I have those……
p.s. seen the BLF GT too - but I’d rather be less $$$

Wait for new Emisar with Osram KW CSLPM1.TG. Will be available to buy this month.

Astrolux Ft03 with SST40, can be had for 30$, meets all your requirements

The kw cslpm1.tg gives a very small hotspot. It will shine very far but in my c8 with this led i found the hotspot to small for search and rescue. The ft03 astrolux with sst40 works perfectly for me.

One or two 26650 give you a lot of battery-life.

I will guess, that the Emisar with that Osram LED will be that mini-Thrower-thingy?

And ft03 uses 21700 battery that can be charged inside the light.

Haikelite MT07S hi 1200m throw!

Definetely Astrolux FT03 SST40 and using Shockli 26650 5500mah 30A. It can sustain long run with less heat. I heard the xhp50.2 version will generate heat faster than the sst40 on turbo, thus cut the runtime.

More plus, FT03 operating in Narsilm which give ramping mode by simply click hold, easy single click on/off.

FT03 is very hard to beat in price and throw

I do K9 SAR and teach SAR as well. What is “not wildly expensive” if you want to consider yourself professional?

Olight makes a few 18650s. I’m liking my Acebeam T27 so far. It uses 21700s.

@xcentric, if you are interested, I would like to offer you a brand new Astrolux FT03 SST40-W 2400lm neutral white 5000K, for 35$ including shipping via DHL (without tracking) to UK. Then you do not have to wait so long in case of an order from BG. If you’re interested, write me a PM. The FT03 can be used with 18650, 21700 or 26650 batteries.

thanks folks. Astrolux FT03 ordered.

many thanks, but I ordered one in cool white.

If anyone has a Acebeam T27 for about £60 (used, I’d guess at that price) I’d be keen to chat (or a good discount code……)

thanks!

I do have a GT for sale…
