Best value for pocket thrower? Looking at Thrunite Catapult.

While going through my relatively small collection, I realized I’m missing a good pocket thrower. I do have a Nitecore MH20GT but I’d like something with a little more throw and battery life.

I’ve been looking at the Thrunite Catapult and so far it looks like the best value to performance ratio.

Is there anything else I should be looking at? I know the Catapult V6 has been out for a while now and I’m wondering if maybe Thrunite is getting ready to release a V7.

I’d like it to have built in recharging, single battery, at least as much throw as the Catapult V6.

Price under $60.

Is the V6 the one I want or is there anything I’m missing?

Wait for the Emisar D1Sv2 if you really want insane throw. it will have 550kcd+ /1483 M throw +
Its releasing this month and is probably gonna be the best pocket thrower for a while. it will have a couple of LEDs to pick from the Osram 1mm white being the throwiest of the bunch but being rather low output (800lm)
If you are looking for more output in a thrower I think the FT03 XHP50.2 is king with 4300LM and 750m of throw.
The Astrolux FT03 SST40-W is slightly throwier but has about 2400LM but a more focussed beam with an impressive 875m throw.
I myself bought the XHP50.2 FT03 and am waiting for the D1Sv2 for a more focussed light. the FT03 comes with ramping (Narsilm) which is nice but not quite as nice as Anduril IMO.
I cant answer your Thrunite questions as I dont even own a Thrunite. Hope this helps you a little.
