Which is the shorter 18650 ??

Hi all, I just try to put my 18650 batterys in a diy USB Power Bank Case (this: “(from Aliexpress store)”:Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com but they are too long!!

I have try to put in a 2500mhA Eagletac and Sanyo, but don’t fit (are protected).
So I have try with a Panasonic NCR18650PF + an INR Samsung sdi 30Q (unprotected) but no way!

So the question: which is the best and shorter 18650 to put in?

If an unprotected 30Q doesn’t fit, sounds like it was made improperly.

Any flat top unprotected 18650 should have pretty much the same size 18x65.0mm

Well, if you pull the little (and fragile) springs like hell, and have no problem about the “curvature” of the steel wire, you can put in. But it seems really very forced :person_facepalming:

I have no idea how long the steel cable can last under this effort.
It would need at least 1mm less.

Yes, you are right.
But, I remember there are some 18650 with 18*6,40 or something like that.
In this situation, a very little space more will be welcome.
