Hello all. I ordered a Mateminco X6s on a whim from Nealsgadgets as I was also ordering some FW3A accessories. I am just starting to get into modding and I saw someone mention that the light might be moddable to a 7 LED configuration. Has anyone tried this?
I guess mostly confirmed about dimensions. The LEDIL ANNA optic is evidently 40mm in diameter, and the X6s head diameter is 40mm, so would it not fit? If the ANNA optic is the same one used in the E07 how did they make it fit as the E07 is like 37.5mm diameter? I know the X6s also has an oddball optic so not sure of the depth and if an aftermarket optic might not have the right depth for the host.
I’ve seen a couple posts about the E07 optic in the last few days, not sure if someone is putting bad info out there or what but the 7 up optic fireflies uses is a proprietary optic sourced from a Chinese optic company, not a Carclo or ledil.
As for converting an x6s into a 7up, perhaps you could convince kiruba-to to make the necessary spacer but that still leaves the optic issue…
Fwiw the E07 optic is available on tobaio but if you don’t know, items from there arnt usually available to us western folks, at minimum you’d need an agent, but still don’t know how easy it’d be even with an Asia based buying agent without knowing someone personally.
