Lee sells minus green filters, they’re available on Amazon but not sure if you have them there. You could check camera/photography supply stores or websites, they usually carry a selection of filters.
It would have to be installed under the lens or bezel of the light or attached with some double-sided tape, not adhesive like DC Fix is.
Yes!
It’s like MF01 Mini, the same flashlight but with another brand logo. It indeed whitens out at near max, but at real use low levels it is the greeniest light I’ve ever seen
It seems generally a lot of LEDs like Cree or Luminous have a greenish tint on low currents
Only the extreme rosy 219B or C are different, just because they are so far below bbl that you don’t see it on low currents
for the 4000K they specifically ordered tints below BBL
CRI LEDs seem not to suffer so bad being green on low levels
I have XM-L2 U2 3C that seems too greenish, but when compared to this SST20… it’s like SST20 is in a green party having fun and my XM-L is standing outside far away
I only own the two SST Minis 4k and 5k, so I can’t say for sure. I would HOPE it’s better than this.
Except for the fact that it actually comes on and emits light, I’d be tempted to claim it as a DOA defect along with the 4k one. (It has a bad red aux LED)
The green tint on SST20 5000K is not new, i once swapped an XPL hi in my A6 for that, and that is green as grass. Never use it though. (That reminds me, got to mod it)
4000K should be way better, and higher CRI.
