Dumb Reflecter ?

Is there any way to tell from a sellers description or any other way in an lite ad whether a reflector is going to be floody or spotty. I think deepter is more spotterier but haven't seen any physical descriptions of reflectors to help with that ?

tks all

Generally the bigger (i.e. wider) reflector will be more throwy.  Being deeper as well adds only a very tiny bit to throw but reduces the spill thereby increasing contrast and emphasizing the throw of the hotspot.
