Ebay fake battery warning.

Some ‘genuine’ CR123 batteries which are utter garbage.

Can anyone recommend where i can get some GOOD ones please, ideally in the UK although that isn’t vitally important.

I used to buy lots of primaries from battery junction back in the pre-18650 days. Some were stored for 10+ years and were still charged and ready to use.

Ahh, good call. Never thought of these folks (18650.uk is my 1st port of call) but my 26650s came from Ecolux and they seem fine.
Thank you.

For those in the US, Dorcy.com is having a “buy one get one free” sale this week on their website.
I’m stocking up on alkaline batteries for the “hope there’s no earthquake” box.

They supplied my Keeppowers for my l6 and they are indeed, good batteries and a good supplier.
Just bought my cr123s from there.
Sick to the back teeth of ebay and fake batteries.

There’s an easy way to determine whether batteries on Ebay are good or junk…..

they’re junk.

I bought some efest 18350 from Totally Wicked, which were good, but looks like they don’t do them now. Quick Google finds:

Never bought from them, but the efest batteries I have have been good.
Checked on 18650.uk, they have EagTac 16340 listed, but out of stock:

You say you want CR123’s, but show a 16340 (rcr123). The two are totally different types of cells. The CR123 are non-rechargeable Lithium, and the 16340(rcr123) are rechargeable Lithium Ion. Which is it you’re looking for?
