Wow. They actually designed something decent looking for once! XHP50s are pretty efficient so the sustained output should be pretty good. Nice to see there’s other emitter options as well. Wonder what the price will be.

Grossly inflated specs once again. Doubt the throw numbers can get close to what they state. Same w/ the lumens, that 4× 50.2 light is gonna put out absurd heat.

Then again, would be interested if they offer <=5000k tints which they’re not gonna.

why 3×18650? too little power for such lumens. And you need to buy a new set of 3×18650 cells because you can’t use your other 4×18650 cells from your other flashlights

Looks more like a competitor to Sofirns SP36 to me. Hope price is also in same range. And vote for 4000/5000k.

Yes, it would ideally be 4*XHP50.2 (4000K Hi-CRI?) and 3*21700

I will vote for SST40. Look, it has a balance between thrower and flood also less heat.

Yet if I do recall, both xpl hi and xhp50.2 draw huge amount of current compare to sst40. I dont know you guys know relationship between current and heat.

In search of the most ideal flashlight in town:
1. BRIGHTNESS
2. Durabillity
3. Design
4. Quality
5. Price$$$

Warm is better. Noticed the trit slots. I’m sure Lexel will have an aux board eventually. It’s gonna be blingy!

More Photons!

I haven’t seen 3v xhp 50.2s come in anything other than 5700k and 6500k. Unless they’re using a boost circuit, that’s all you’re going to get unless they’re actually going for 3 cells in series which seems unlikely with USB charging. It’ll likely be 3P without a boost circuit and we’ll get 6500k

Looks like they missed the mark on this one. As others have mentioned, building this light with with either 4 × 18650 or 3 × 21700 makes a lot more sense.
