thanks for the photos… you did a lot of work.

suggestion… set white balance to 5600k for all photos… then the colors will be more consistently comparable.

that is some disturbing photo banding (PWM?)… I hope it is not visible to your naked eye.

That’s the surface texture, not PWM.

I only have my old crappy cellphone for the pics… I can’t do any better sorry

And no it’s not pwm, it’s my curtain :zipper_mouth_face:

oh!

ok

congrats on your nice selection of CCT options…
if you could only choose one, which would it be?

Is the xm-L2 S6 7D3? In the set of Simon photos the red seems deepest with it. Has anyone ever done any testing on it?

My first choice is E21A 2700K, second 2000K (I like warm tint :sunglasses: )

Sorry can’t answer, I don’t know :zipper_mouth_face:

Also, the blue and green almost fade into the same color.

Interesting experiment. I need to do something similar with my lights. It would be interesting to see their performance side by side.

Xm-l2 3000k 90cri looks nice!

me too
e21a have really great tint and fantastic color rendering

I love my warm orange 2000k E21a, but dont spend much time in fully dark situations lately, so it does not get used much

I really like my 3500k E21a … in the evening, when Im adapted to 3000k incandescent house lights

I still rely on the sw45k for daytime use… the others are too warm when Im adapted to sunlight

thanks for posting photos, I especially like this composite you took the time to assemble and share:

I see you have a lot of warm headlamps, makes me wonder if you get to use them camping?

still available @ Andrew & Amanda or even wal-mart if you want it :+1:

Thx  I use them whenever I have the chance… of course in the woods my headlamp of choice would be the 2000K but my goto of choice in everyday situation is my 2700k, anything above for me is cool white :confounded:
