Science fair project anodizing my BLF A6, question

I bought an 18350 tube non anodized and I am about to purchase some Caswell anodizing dye, my question is I’m going for the orange but there’s two different kinds 2A + 3B I believe, do you guys know which one I should go for and can explain to me what is the difference

I’m not sure it’s that simple…I read a thread on here a while ago and it seemed like part of the outcome is how long the item is in the ano process \ solution. Have you seen that thread yet?

I think they were using sharpie pens for the dye, that might help to find it since anodizing is such a common key word
