Manker 14500 batteries identification

Hi I have a Manker e11 that I love. Came as a bundle with a 750mA orange and black "Manker" battery, that has a groove around it on the orange cathode end. It seems to be a good performing battery and I would like to buy more (no luck at Mankerlight.com). Can anybody please identify this battery? Suggestions for equivs/better would be great, too. Thanks.

It most probably comes from a generic Chinese factory, so contact Manker for more, if you’re happy with its performance.

Thanks. But somehow I doubt they will be much help with that question. Are any good batteries, actually made in China??

I meant “contact” them for more cells.

There are some quality Chinese li-ion cell manufacturers, but finding out who’s who is the tricky part.

Wait a while and they’ll be branded “UTorch”. :smiling_imp:

I have contacted Manker. Said they can only sell and ship them IN a flashlight. Not seperately. Makes me wonder how others can do it.

I’ve had good luck with the Shockli 1000mAh cells. Good pricing (4 for <$12) and arrived within 2 weeks of ordering. Not sure if there’ll be any differences going to Canada.

Thanks, but there is no such thing as a 1000mAh 14500 battery.

Identified by a label rating of 1000mAh. Actual capacity is very slightly less. If you know of one better, do tell.

The Vapcell Gold was measured at 975mAh at 0.1A, that qualifies for 1000 in my book.
