If you paid about $100 with the xtender tube for this Dereelight from Alan and it was nicked up pretty bad would you send it back? I'm kind of anal on a nicked up $100 flashlight. And again where is the quality control?

If it bothered me I would. Unless it was really nicked up badly however it probably wouldn’t bother me. It might prevent me from ordering another light from the same source however.
Well if I send it back, I don't feel I should have to eat the shipping for poor quality control. What is it with these Chinese sellers that they can't see the obvious?

Not acceptable , I would send it back. I would ask them to pay for shipping cost. I personally never pay for shipping back a damaged item, there the ones who screwed up .
I would send it back. If you pay $100 for a flashlight it shouldn't have nicks or other imperfections.
