Recommend me a compact dual port USB-A wall charger that is not Anker

Anyone have any recommendations? I could go for Anker though but thought I’d ask if there are other brands I should check out. I was checking out the PowerPort Elite 2 so hopefully nothing larger than 2.2 x 2.2 x 1.1 inches. Smaller the better.

This isn’t the cheapest, but I bought it in 2016 and no complaints.
The slimness works in a specific location for me. Unit is robust.

Ravpower or Aukey. Anker also has more compact chargers than the one you linked.

The Monoprice Select Plus is worth a look.

Allmaybe EU2-ST. Got it when it released for four bucks and change, its been great. It’s 2.5” x 2.2” x 1.1”, so maybe the size is a deal breaker for you.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll check them out.

Interesting, I might get one to leave at home.

Yeah I saw that too, sadly that specific one won’t ship to me, wierd.

Never heard of that brand before. Do you have it?

It’s too bulky and I feel like the screen is a waste for me since I probably won’t check the info that much. Thanks though! Maybe someday in the future I’ll need it.

Forgot about that brand. They have an interesting cable that has a micro USB inside of a lightning pin. I don’t know how well it will work but I have one on the way to check out.

I definitely like having the screen. I tend to charge my devices just below completely full. I can see the current taper off as the charge nears completion, so its nice for me. But not compelling for you, I get it. Good luck in your search.

I see, fair point. I don’t really follow the best practice for charging phone battery. I’m too lazy to keep the charge at 40-80% so I just leave it to charge when sleeping. Still, thanks!

Is it too space/cost prohibitive to get two genuine Apple 2.4A 12w wall warts and just live with them?

Well this is more for travel rather than leaving it at home though which I should probably have stated in the OP so in a way yes. I just wanted to know what chargers people here use as well. Since most people I know just recommend Anker to no end.

I’d check out proper reviews before going for the lesser brand names, some have dangerous construction, with Anker or RavPower at least you know they are as safe as OEM chargers.

I do check with HKJ’s reviews before purchasing anything charger related. Thanks for the warning! Kind of leaning towards the Aukey one though. Found one with a decent price and fast shipping. Also HKJ approves. If ever this fails at least I have a list to go though. Thanks everyone!

Monoprice is a company that rebrands Chinese stuff. They’re known for solid quality at fairly low prices shipped from the US. I have several of their cables and some accessories, but none of their chargers. I do, however have a charger made by LVSun, which makes some stuff for Monoprice. It’s much bigger than you’re looking for (5 ports, 110W total, with 20V PD from the C port and support for QC and such from the A ports), but has been excellent for the several months I’ve had it.

It and the Anker are around $10. This probably isn’t a purchase worth overthinking. There’s a good chance you’ll end up wanting to replace it as support for fast-charging standards becomes relevant in your life.

I have used a couple of Blitzwolf chargers from Banggood. Been working well. I also use some of their cables.
