18650 LED flashlight

Is there a LED flashlight that uses 8 18650 batteries?

BLF GT has the option to use 8x18650.

Thank you for the information!

Fenix TK 75 ! Can do 4 , 8 or 12 X 18650 with extra extension tubes and carriers that can be bought separately .Mandatory to use the same brand and capacity for the batteries !!!

Thank you but I am looking for something with more than 5200 Lumens!

Sorry , but you didn't stated the min 5200 Lm output in your post ! I don't think that you'll be able to find such a flashlight , due to the fact that there are some limitations , that the flashlight manufacturers understood during the last few years of producing them .., I'm talking about carriers for the batteries ( more and more companies are switching on integrated batteries holders ). To be more precise , in order to have 8 or more batteries , and also to preserve an acceptable dimension is mandatory not to use more than 4 pieces , in parallel or series configuration , depending on drivers and led used ...

First , a "bulky" flashlight is not very attractive for the consumers ,

Second , loss of power due to the multiple contact points (battery -holder , holder -holder , holders - driver ) ,

Third , a series configuration of the batteries implies a carefully pairing ( same brand , same capacity , same continuous discharge current , same sag under load...!) ... If , for a drilling machine , a series configuration for the batteries is not a big problem , because , in the holder is implemented a balance circuit , and the charger is proprietary , for a flashlight with such capabilities , the price and the dimensions will be a kill deal..!

Could be wrong but , looks that you are going on a dead end path..,maybe someone , with more experience than me , will chime in...

Am I wrong or are you looking for a useful occupation for a lot of batteries you already own?
In that case I would not go for the GT. It is far too cumbersome to schlepp around.
I own a GT myself, but at a reasonable price since I was a buyer from the first wave.
And even then I have my doubts from time to time.

For a fraction of the cost you can buy good Cola-can sized lights that need four batteries.
And what’s more, a lot of those require a parallel placement of the batteries.
That “reduces” a bit the need for perfectly “matched” batteries if they are placed in series.
Like in the GT.

So for the price of one GT, you can buy four or more Q8’s, and make three relatives happy.

You’ll shoot your’e eye out

Acebeam X70 uses 8x18650 and makes ~60,000 lumens, but the cells are in a proprietary battery pack and can’t be easily removed or replaced.

Imalent Dx80 and Olight X9R. MF01S with 8x18650 battery tube extension.

Ms18 uses 8x21700 battery pack and is world’s brightest flashlight

Are there any quality flashlights out there that put out more than 60,000 Lumens but less than 100,000 Lumens?

So in other words you want something in-between the Acebeam X70 and Imalent MS18. Any particular reason? I don’t think there is anything though.

Yes I was looking for something in between the Acebeam X70 and the Imalent MS18. No particular reason, just curious.

Do you need it for any practical reason? Beside trying to fry eggs on it?

Sorry, I am allergic to eggs!
